Snow. So much snow. Everywhere she looked was a white fluffy void. The lights of a little town twinkle in the distance, but otherwise all snow.
Stephanie just wanted to have fun.
Stephanie wished that there was any perceivable purpose for bear scrunchies. She would rock a scrunchie.
Stephanie was known to pass up a good meal if they could point her in the direction of a good party. Which was honestly a rarity in the vast north where most folks were preoccupied with surviving and not particularly interested in socializing.
And therein lay her struggle.
Everyday, no matter who she managed to snag for a chat, it was always the same. They were always trying to find food or shelter or their family or something else tedious.
No one shared her thrill seeking nature. So she had taken to wandering into nearby towns.
She could usually catch a song or two through a window before the killjoy Rangers tranquilized her and brought her out to the wilderness. Once it wore off she would pick a direction and wander until she found a different town.
Someday she would figure out how to communicate "I won't eat you if you just play some Bon Jovi".
Maybe today would be that day Stephanie thought as she strolled past a wooden sign welcoming her to her next adventure.
